Binding Types
Coil Binding (also known as Color Coil, Colorcoil, EZ-Coil, Plastic Coil, Spiral Binding, Plastikoil and Coilbind)
Perfect Binding

Perfect Binding is very common with paperback books. It is a method in which adhesive is applied along the spine of books / manuals in order to keep all the pages together and hold the cover in place. There is no stitching in this binding process. Perfect Binding is not ideal for jobs with a very low page count because there will not be a thick enough spine.

Specs
  • Recommended minimum of 48 pages

Coil Binding (also known as Color Coil, Colorcoil, EZ-Coil, Plastic Coil, Spiral Binding, Plastikoil and Coilbind)

Ring Binding

Ring Binding is a method in which holes are punched along the edge of the sheets to use with a ring binder. This binding process is great for documents that need to be easily removed or have dividers, tabs, or other pages inserted. This process works well for jobs with almost any page amount. Custom binders can also be created to fit your needs.

Specs
  • Copy must be at least 3/4" inside from the trim line on the bound edge.

  • Recommended for any page count.
